There was this new method of training that I'd created called TBT. Now what it actually was doesn't really matter. It could've been almost anything. But bottom line it was another one of those "great ideas" that could solve lots of problems for people that nobody knew about. So it was very hard to sell!

I used to go into companies, buy lunch for all their people, and give enthusiastic, informative presentations about this really cool new training method that could make their people way more productive and save them a bucket load of cash into the bargain.

...Ever done that before?

They'd file in, consume my food, listen apathetically to the presentation, and file out. They'd go back to their offices, I'd go back to mine, and they wouldn't buy a thing. The whole situation was really depressing.
